Rose’s passion for Chinese medicine grew out of a burning curiosity about the nature of true health, and a desire to understand the fundamental imbalances at the root of disease. This prompted her, on an impulse, to throw herself into the study of Chinese Medicine – a decision she has never regretted!
Rose Anscombe is a graduate of the Southern School of Natural Therapies and holds a Bachelor of Health Science/Bachelor of Chinese Medicine. She also holds a diploma of Canonical Chinese Medicine issued by the Institute of Classics in East Asian Medicine (ICEAM) and is a specialist in ancient Chinese herbalism. Rose’s experience includes community work in drug and alcohol rehabilitation and she has a special interest in psycho-emotional disorders. In addition, Rose has studied acupuncture in pregnancy and childbirth with Debra Betts, a well-known New Zealand acupuncturist, nurse and midwife.
