Iva C.Baloun had her first experience in Acupuncture and Massage Therapy & Reflexology while growing up in Europe, Prague. Her travels took her first to Austria where she obtained a Diploma in Massage Therapy. After leaving Vienna in 1987 she came to Melbourne. Here she got to work part time in a multidisciplinary clinic in Melbourne CBD and in Bayside Natural Therapies clinic. She was also enrolled at the Australian Acupuncture College in Melbourne to Study TCM. In 1993 Iva established her own consulting rooms in the Manchester Unity Building, Collins street, Melbourne where she practises to this day.
