With 25 years of experience as a massage therapist and as the owner of Essence of Health; Carmen combines the use of several techniques in her treatments. Carmen and her staff regularly attend continued education courses to update skills. Pregnancy massage is another of her many skills; working on a specially designed table which can be adapted to allow you to lay face down for every treatment throughout the whole of your pregnancy.
Taking pride in her work, she will develop a massage which suits you on the day, consisting of a variety of techniques some of which may include deep tissue massage, flowing strokes, kneading and gentle working of the muscles all performed at your chosen pressure. Her technique will de-stress and loosen up your body, it's great if you’ve had a hard working week or if you have developed pain in any given area. It is the perfect way to relax both your muscles and your mind.
