Dr Yao began his study of Acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine in 1993. He has a Master and Bachelor's degree of Chinese Medicine from Shanghai University of TCM. He practiced as an intern, resident, and attending doctor from 1998 to 2003 in teaching hospitals in Shanghai, China. He started his private practice in Australia since 2003. His own practice was opened in 2005 in Manly, NSW. His area of interest includes neck injuries, pain relief program, infertility, IVF and embryonic transfer support, morning sickness, labour-inducing.
