Graduated in 1981 from RMIT in Melbourne commenced practice that year in the current area. Has been a Past President of the Queensland branch of the Chiropractic Association, a past Chairman of the Chiropractors Board and federal delegate for many years. Practices Thompson technique, a drop piece aided technique developed by a Dr Clay Thompson in 1947 and further developed by Dr Robert Jackson(Colorado), Dr Sheridan Brady-Kay( New Zealand Chiropractic College) and Dr John Minardi (Toronto). Works in a multi-doctor facility with 2 male and 2 female chiropractors and 6 support staff. Married with 4 children and currently 6 grandchildren with his youngest daughter, Hannah Pickford practising as a Chiropractor in Geelong, Victoria( Geelong Chiropractic 03 52295620).
