Brent graduated with a Masters Degree in Chiropractic from the Durban University of Technology (RSA 1996). Postgraduate qualifications include a Diploma in Chiropractic (United Kingdom) as well as a diploma from the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians.
Previous academic and teaching appointments over the last 20 years include the University of Johannesburg, University of Surrey (UK) and Murdoch University.
The list of sporting events that Brent has been involved in is extensive, and includes working with athletes privately, at national and international events, and university research laboratories.
