Catherine completed her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2006 at La Trobe University in Melbourne. She has over 10 years experience working in both the public and private sector. Catherine uses a range of evidence-based strategies, drawing from cognitive behaviour therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy and mindfulness based techniques. She assists adults and children with a wide range of difficulties such as anxiety, OCD, depression, anger, parenting and relationship difficulties, coping with bullying, and grief. One of Catherine’s interests is working with people who are experiencing persistent pain. Catherine’s other main interest is working with children, adolescents, and young adults. She spent several years working at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne. She offers a full range of developmental and learning assessments to assess conditions such as Dyslexia, ADHD, Autism Spectrum, memory problems and complex learning difficulties.
