Mr Roger Frankel
Inner Melbourne Counselling
Counsellor
Much of Roger’s professional life was spent in the Australian Foreign Service, in 5 countries. He speaks Spanish, Portuguese and French fluently. He has decided to make his life experience and professional training available to fellow members of our community who may need emotional support. He has a Masters in Social Science (Human Services-Counselling) and observes the ethical standards established by the Counsellors and Psychotherapists Association of Victoria (CAPAV). There is no “one size fits all” therapeutic approach. Some prefer to work through their existential issues and distress in deep inner exploration. Others prefer a solution focused approach. Many of us face grief, anxiety, addictions, difficulties in relationships, chronic illness, overwhelming feelings of hopelessness and despair, and sometimes depression. Some of us need help to deal with these difficult times. Roger likes to work in a collaborative way, honouring the uniqueness of his clients.
