Dr Rex Huang graduated from La Trobe University, Melbourne with a Master of Dentistry. He has years of experience working in both private practice here in Sydney as well as at numerous community dental clinics across rural and regional Victoria where he volunteered with the Royal Flying Doctors Service.
He is passionate about providing evidence based and patient-centred care and has special interest and skills in complex oral surgery. In 2020 he successfully passed the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (RACDS) Primary Dental Sciences Examination and in 2022 he obtained membership of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (MRACDS).
In addition to being a practicing clinician, Dr Rex Huang is also an experienced lecturer and clinical educator at the University of Sydney School of Dentistry where he teaches across all 3 years of the Bachelor of Oral Health (BOH) and all 4 years of the Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) programs in Oral Surgery.
