Dr Alex Kwaan graduated from the University of Sydney in 2004 and commenced his career as a Dental Officer with the Royal Australian Air Force and various family dental practices in Queensland and Victoria. In 2008, he relocated back to Sydney and started working at YOUR DENTALCARE TEAM at North Strathfield (formerly known as mydental care North Strathfield). Dr Alex has since taken over as the principal dentist.
Dr Alex enjoys all aspects of dentistry and has a particular interest in orthodontics and as a result has completed a mini-residency in Orthodontics. He is also passionate about minor oral surgery (including wisdom teeth removal), root canals, children’s dentistry and patient education. His warm and gentle manner means that his patients will have a relaxing and enjoyable visit.
When he is not looking into a patient’s mouth, Dr Alex can be found cycling, playing basketball or fighting monsters with his 3 children.
