Coastal Orthodontics welcomed Dr Seema Manek to the practice as a talented and experienced associate dentist. Originally from the UK, Dr Manek graduated from Guys', Kings' and St Thomas' School of Medicine and Dentistry in London with a degree in dentistry. After some years working in the fields of restorative dentistry, oral surgery, and special care dentistry, she attended Barts' and the Royal London Hospital to complete her specialist training in orthodontics.
Dr Manek's career has also seen her go on to complete a Masters degree in Orthodontics, become a member of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons and Orthodontics at the Royal College of Surgeons of England and Glasgow, and become a registered dentist and Specialist in Orthodontics in Australia. The years have seen her gain extensive experience in the areas of children's dentistry, treating patients with special needs/medical complications/dental anxiety, performing complex orthodontics on patients with facial deformities.
