I grew up in Wellington, New Zealand and studied dentistry in Dunedin at the University of Otago. I graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery with honours and was I now ready for the world and adventure, so I decided it was time to go abroad and leave my home country, New Zealand, for a one year position as a Dental Officer at Westmead Centre of Oral Health, Sydney. Soon after arriving, I met my future husband, Roberto, and with the many opportunities I found in Sydney, I could not help but make Sydney my new home. I have been practicing general dentistry in both public, private and volunteering sectors for over 10 years with focus on all aspects of oral health and in particular orthodontics and the impact of correct jaw position on various aspects of a healthy life.
