Born in Taiwan, Jack moved to Australia as a teenager. He attended The Southport School (TSS) for his high schooling and has lived on the Gold Coast ever since. In addition to speaking English, Jack is fluent in both Mandarin and Hokkien Chinese. Together with his long-term Japanese dental assistant Tomoko, he has not only a large following from his English-speaking patients, but from Taiwanese, Japanese and Chinese patients alike.
Jack graduated from The University of Queensland Dental School in 1994. On graduation, he initially worked for Queensland Health in the public sector before moving to private practice in Brisbane. In 1999 Jack joined Dental On Falconer on the Gold Coast and now owns the practice.
