Dr Mark Shih grew up in Brisbane and attended Robertson Primary School and Brisbane State High School. Following graduation, his passion for dentistry lead him into the Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Science and then Graduate Diploma in Dentistry at Griffith University. Following completion of his university studies, Mark accepted a full time job at a family owned private practice in Mackay. During his time in Mackay, Mark was able to master all aspects of dentistry, gained valuable cultural experiences and made some great friends in the process. For a number of years, he treated numerous adults and their families alike.
Mark has been providing a gentle yet professional dental service for both children and adults which steered him to return to Brisbane and establish his own clinic - Newnham Family Dental. At Newnham Family Dental, he understands that every patient is unique and therefore spends his time discussing treatment options to provide a personalised dental treatment plan.
