Dr Sharyn Borrett graduated from Bachelor of Oral Health (Adel) in 2005. She worked in private general and a specialist periodontal practice as a hygienist, and the South Australian Dental Service (SADS) as a dental therapist.
Sharyn went on to further studies in Bachelor of Dental Surgery (Adel), graduating in 2011 with the “South Australian Dental Service Prize” for having attained the highest standard in clinical dentistry, demonstrated professional behaviour, supported peers, and acted as an advocate for colleagues throughout the clinical years.
She was on the Recent Graduates Committee of the Australian Dental Association for 5 years, and this will be her second year serving on the council of the Australian Dental Association – South Australian branch.
Her main areas of interest in general dentistry are Special Needs – including disability, anxiety and medically compromised patients as well as children.
