Jeffcott Dental Clinic welcomed Associate Dentist, Dr Delu Gunasekera, to the friendly Adelaide team in March 2017. Dr Gunasekera graduated in 2011 with a Bachelor of Dentistry from Sydney University. He began his dental career working in Northern New South Wales for two years before moving to Sydney and splitting his time between two practices (Sydney CBD and South West Sydney).
After two years, Dr Gunasekera made the move to Adelaide to continue working as a dentist and complete his Doctor of Medicine at Flinder's University. In the near future, he hopes to undertake additional studies to pursue a career in oral maxillofacial surgery.
Within the practice, Dr Gunasekera is passionate about all aspects of dentistry with a particular interest in oral surgery, implants, cosmetic dentistry and root canal therapy. He thoroughly enjoys problem-solving and interacting with patients, building strong relationships that foster positive dental experiences.
