Dr Andre Schertel graduated as a dentist in 2001. He successfully setup and ran his own dental practice in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Early 2008 he moved to Australia with his wife Cintia and joined the team at The Smile Place Mt Eliza.
Andre completed his post-graduate studies in restorative and cosmetic dentistry in 2003 and then a Post-Graduate degree in Clinical Dentistry (Oral Implants) at the University of Melbourne in 2011. He is passionate for continuing education and the use of technology in dentistry, and is often found tinkering with a new gadget or two.
He is a member of the Australian Dental Association, the Australasian Sleep Association, the International Team for Implantology and the Academy of Microscope Enhanced Dentistry.
Andre and Cintia (now also a team member at The Smile Place Mt Eliza) have settled in the Mornington area and are proud parents of Gabriel and Daniel.
As a family they love camping and enjoy the beauty of the Australian outdoors.
