Emma Perry graduated with a Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Science from the University of Sunshine Coast at the end of 2018. Prior to graduating Emma undertook various work experiences using exercise in the tailored management of cardiovascular, metabolic and respiratory diseases, neurological conditions, musculoskeletal injury and rehabilitation in private practice. She has a strong understanding and appreciation for the value of exercise in maintaining health and healing for those suffering chronic disease, and works in this space to foster self-management.
Emma also had the opportunity to conduct work experience for a non-for profit organisation Bloomhill on the Sunshine Coast, where she learnt the value of, and the positive outcomes exercise has in cancer care; a population she now has a special interest in, advocating exercise for mitigating symptoms and side effects of treatment.
