Sarah is an ESSA Accredited Exercise Physiologist, graduating in 2007 with a Bachelor of Exercise Science & Nutrition and more recently a Graduate Diploma in Public Health.
Sarah has worked in a variety of settings including Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation, Aboriginal Medical Centres in Rural NSW, Department of Human Services and for the last 3 years as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist on the Gold Coast utilising the Medx medical exercise system. Sarah’s interests include chronic lower back pain management, musculoskeletal injuries and pre/post surgery rehabilitation, women’s health, neurological and neuromuscular conditions in particular Multiple Sclerosis.
Sarah also has expertise in chronic disease management, assisting in reducing the burden of disease and functional impacts through education, self management and appropriate clinical exercise interventions. Sarah also enjoys medx strength training sessions with clients for weight loss and increased strength and flexibility
