Dr Adam Gordon is a VMO gastroenterologist at The Alfred and Sandringham Hospitals, where he is also involved in teaching and research. Adam is an adjunct senior lecturer at Monash University Medical School at AMREP (Alfred Medical Education and Research Precinct). Adam was the inaugural Head of the Gastroenterology Craft Group at Holmesglen Private Hospital and established that hospital's multidisciplinary Gastrointestinal cancer meeting (a regular meeting of gastroenterologists, surgeons, oncologists, pathologists and radiologists to ensure best management of patients with gastrointestinal cancers). Adam graduated from his MBBS degree at Monash University in 1997 with honours. He subsequently completed his advanced training in gastroenterology at The Alfred Hospital in 2006.
