MBBS, BMedSc, FRACGP, BSc, BA, DipCompSc, JD, GradDipLP
I started my study of medicine in 1987 at the University of Queensland (UQ) when in my early 30s. After graduation and time spent at Royal Brisbane Hospital I undertook study towards my Fellowship of General Practice (FRACGP).
I practised at Wynnum, Manly, Lowood, Fernvale and Logan Village during my Fellowship study. Since gaining my Fellowship I have practised at Wynnum, Coorparoo and Bulimba.
I have also undertaken a Juris Doctor at UQ and then a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at the Queensland University of Technology. I was admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2013. I do not have a practicing certificate though.
The situation around COVID-19 has provided an opportunity to migrate to a telehealth platform. This has come about with support from the Federal Government through Medicare and the interesting intersection of a number of technologies.
