After graduating with honours from the University of Western Australia and completing my intern year at Fremantle Hospital, I worked for 6 years in Melbourne. Experience at the Royal Children’s and Royal Melbourne Hospitals gave me an excellent grounding in paediatrics and adult medicine including chronic disease management. Working at a number of Melbourne general practices during my postgraduate Fellowship training gave me an understanding of delivering high quality health care to a community. After 2 years rural general practice experience in Jervis Bay on the NSW south coast I returned to Perth with my wife and 2 young children.
I am passionate about all areas of general practice and have particular interests in neonatal and child health, adult and aged care medicine, men’s health, chronic disease management, travel and skin cancer medicine. I have a diploma in women’s health and have completed additional training in skin cancer medicine.
