I am a General surgeon (abdominal surgeon), with subspecialty training in Upper GI (oesophagus/gullet & stomach) and Bariatric (weight loss) surgery. I work publicly at Monash Health, and privately at Cabrini Malvern and Jessie McPherson Private Hospital.
I completed two years of subspecialty training through the Australian Upper GI Surgery program in Auckland, New Zealand, and Norwich, UK, working in high volume Bariatric and Oesophageal cancer units.
I specialise in conditions of the oesophagus (gullet) and stomach for conditions such as reflux, weight loss and cancer. I perform a wide range of general surgery procedures, including hernia repair and for surgery for gallbladder problems.
For obesity, I consult at Complete Weight Loss Solutions and perform Sleeve Gastrectomy and Gastric Bypass.
I also perform gastroscopy and colonoscopy (camera investigation of the stomach and colon).
