As a pre and postnatal nurture specialist, I help women have a happy, healthy pregnancy; a positive birth experience, and a fuss free start to breastfeeding.
I draw on my skills as a naturopath and remedial massage therapist to help women enjoy a healthy pregnancy. Reflux, heartburn, haemorrhoids and anal fissures (which no-one talks about, but many women have!) are a few of my favourite things to work with.
Aching backs, sore hips, and tight shoulders are banished during massages. I use a bodyCushion support system, so women that wish to enjoy a pregnancy massage lying face down are able to do so. Everyone floats out, ready to return to their families.
My breastfeeding counselling experience enables me to work with women to achieve their breastfeeding goals. You will not find me recommending lactation cookies. I rarely (if ever!) use herbs for 'low supply', and instead take a lactation case history to determine what course of action needs to take place.
