I’m Dr Vasi and I am a specialist gynaecologist and advanced laparoscopic surgeon in Sydney. I’m passionate about women’s wellness and want to educate and empower women to be involved in caring for their minds and bodies. I pride myself on listening closely to patients’ needs, appreciating their underlying concerns and worries, whilst creating effective bespoke care plans.
I was born in Sri Lanka and grew up in rural NSW. I completed my medical degree at Monash University in 2008. I did my specialist training through the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology which culminated in a two-year fellowship at the St Vincent’s Hospital exploring the sub-specialities of urogynaecology and minimally invasive surgery or laparoscopy.
I consult at the Wellwoman Clinic in Bondi Junction and operate at Bondi Junction Private Hospital, St Luke’s Private Hospital and Prince of Wales Private Hospital. I teach medical students at the University of Notre Dame.
