Kathy Minchin has worked in the area of hand injuries since 1981 and has been in private practice since 1986. She is passionate about achieving the best outcomes with her patients by recommending protocols that are tailored to the individual patient and their needs.
Kathy manages all hand and wrist injuries including post operative rehabilitation, injuries sustained through work, sport, at home, and advises on the management of arthritis in the hand. She works closely with hand surgeons (these being either plastic or orthopaedic), general practitioners and physiotherapists.
Kathy is an accredited hand therapist (as awarded by the Australian Hand Therapy Association) and has been actively involved in this association. She was the convener of the 2017 national AHTA Conference in Adelaide and has been on the national committee as treasurer, secretary and state representative,
Since 2006 Kathy has volunteered through Interplast Australian and New Zealand in Sri Lanka.
