Jacinta studied the Bachelor of Vision Science/Master of Optometry course at Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane and graduated with Distinction in 2017. As part of her final year placment she experienced a wide variety of optometric and ophthalmological practices. Along with this Jacinta was fortunate enough to be chosen as one of two students to undertake a placement visiting remote Aboriginal communities in Western Australia, an experience that has given her priceless experience in patient management and communication.
During her studies, Jacinta worked part-time with Hugh and the team at Aspley Optical House. She loves the supportive environment and has a great relationship with all staff members. Jacinta is enthusiastic about caring for her patients and their individual needs.
