Philip studied at the University of Melbourne where he completed his Bachelor of Optometry and Ocular Therapeutics training. He has a wealth of clinical experience as a full-time optometrist and contact lens practitioner in Melbourne over the past 15 years.
With an interest in eye disease management, Philip is qualified to prescribe ocular medications to treat red eyes, infections, inflammation, glaucoma, dry eye and for myopia control - the prevention and and slowing down of eyesight deterioration in children and teenagers with safe and effective treatments.
With the rise of childhood short-sightedness (myopia) around the world, Philip is passionate about helping the kids avoid developing high levels of myopia that can lead to eye disease and vision loss later in life.
Philip is one of Australia’s leading clinicians in myopia management. At our Myopia Clinic we fit and prescribe Orthokeratology (Ortho K) lenses, dual-focus soft contact lenses and atropine eye drop therapy.
