Dr Vaibhav Punjabi is an Australian trained Orthopaedic surgeon with a subspecialty interest in primary and revision hip and knee replacement and arthroscopic surgery. He specialises in surgery for sporting injuries such as cruciate ligaments, hamstring avulsions and adductor tendon complex (groin) injuries. He also treats upper and lower limb fractures in adults and paediatric patients. Dr Punjabi completed his specialist orthopaedic training in a number of busy joint replacement units and trauma centres in Sydney. Notably, Dr Punjabi has completed a one year fellowship working alongside internationally renowned orthopaedic surgeon Professor Fares Haddad in London, UK. Dr Punjabi has published in peer-reviewed journals and contributed to book chapters relating to Hip Arthroplasty and Prosthetic Joint Infection. He has presented scientific papers at orthopaedic meetings and conferences in Australia and internationally. He is accredited at Wollongong Public and Private Hospital.
