Osteopath
Sarah began her studies at R.M.I.T University in 1993 attaining a B.App.Sc in Human Biology. She then commenced Osteopathy, graduating in 1999. During her studies at University Sarah also became a qualified Fitness Instructor, personal trainer and Bowen therapist. In 2000 Sarah began working at R.M.I.T as a part time lecturer and completed a Grad Cert in Tertiary teaching in 2003. She then undertook post-graduate studies in Gerontology at La Trobe University in 2004 during which she gained specialised experience working with older adults and enabled her to develop the course Osteopathic Care for Older Adults in the Masters Program at R.M.I.T University. In 2003 Sarah opened the Doncaster Osteopathic Clinic, the 213 Osteopathy Blackburn Clinic in 2009 and now Oak Tree Osteopathy - Canterbury in 2019. Using all osteopathic hands-on techniques, Sarah has a special interest in exercise prescription & self help strategies for her patients to utilise to take control of their own health.
