My areas of interest and expertise are: cardiovascular disease (heart disease, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, heart failure, etc), lifestyle modification (smoking cessation, weight loss, diet/exercise counselling), and chronic disease management (such as asthma/COPD, diabetes, osteoporosis, etc.)
I can do all sorts of things, including skin checks (including biopsies and excisions), Implanon insertion/removal, ingrown toenail removal, and wound care.
The type of care I provide as an NP focuses on person-centred, holisitic health and wellbeing approaches. Although I can treat your illness, I'd rather prevent it.
