  • What is MyWhitecoat?

    You can use MyWhitecoat to find trusted healthcare professionals in your area, read reviews and book instantly, anywhere, anytime.

    MyWhitecoat also allows you to pay and claim against your health fund - without the pain of paperwork or waiting in line. 

    It’s fast, simple and secure and you can save your favourite practitioners in one easy to manage app.

  • Is MyWhitecoat free?

    There is no cost for a patient to download and use MyWhitecoat, so you can search, book, review, pay and claim for no cost with the app.

  • How can I sign up to MyWhitecoat?

    To register with MyWhitecoat, all you need to do is download the app from the App Store or Android Play Store and register with your personal details, such as your name, date of birth and address to get started.

  • How do I add my health insurance to my MyWhitecoat account?

    With MyWhitecoat, you can link your Private Health Insurance details to your account so you can easily claim with your health fund with each appointment.

    When you register, we’ll ask you to add your health insurance details, or you can find this in the Settings section of the app. 

    Enter your policy number on the your health insurance card, your health fund name, the people that are on your policy and the policy expiry. In some cases, we'll need your card number which you'll find on the reverse of the card. 

    If you have more than one member on your health insurance policy, such as another family member, make sure that the individual reference numbers on the card match the names and order you put the details into MyWhitecoat to ensure your registration is correct.

  • Can I add my health insurance details later?

    We don’t mind if you want to add your health insurance details later. All you need to do is click “Skip I’ll do this later” and you’ll be able to set up your account and add these details from the settings when you’re ready. 

    Keep in mind if you want to use MyWhitecoat for claiming, you’ll need to add your health fund details in before your healthcare visit.
