Dr Ehsan Mellati is a well-respected periodontist (gum specialist) in Sydney and founder of Precision Periodontics in Chatswood. His practice is restricted to dental implants and treatment of gum diseases.
He is the recipient of the prestigious ITI (International Team for Implantology) grant for his postgraduate thesis focusing on healing of soft and hard tissues around immediate implants. He has published several articles in well-respected international journals and has been actively involved in presenting lectures, running courses, and teaching undergraduate and postgraduate dental students. He currently holds teaching positions at LaTrobe University and Charles Sturt University and is a Honorary Clinical Lecturer at University of Sydney.
