Biography

After graduating from The University of Sydney in 2003, Sarah commenced her career at The Royal Newcastle Hospital and John Hunter Hospital. Late 2005, she traveled up to the NT to work in Katherine and the remote communities doing Community-Based Rehabilitation. Sarah then traveled over to the UK, and spent a year in Whitby in the hospital, community, and found her love of hydrotherapy. Upon returning to Sydney, she worked at a large Aged Care Facility as part of a Multidisciplinary Team in hostel, nursing home, and dementia specific wards as well as in the community, with primary focuses on Chronic pain, falls prevention, rehabilitation and maintenance programs. She was the lead therapist in hydrotherapy and Tai chi and was the Chair of the Palliative Care Committee. Sarah joined the NAP team in 2012, whose focus is on hydrotherapy and rehabilitation, chronic pain, msk, geriatrics, and return to work. She runs the aquacise and Pilates classes, and she specialises in Dry Needling.
