Chris came to physiotherapy following a 10-year medical research career at the universities of Auckland, the Ecole Polytechnique Federal Lausanne (PhD) and Sydney University (Research Fellow). During this time, his interest in sports performance, holistic treatment, and health through active living influenced his lifestyle and subsequent career choice after he attained a Bachelor of Health Science/Master of Physiotherapy with Distinction.
Chris is passionate about applying the latest research to help people improve their quality of life. His sporting background, combined with his strong attention to detail, means Chris projects his high expectations of function from athletes upon all of his patients. He believes everyone has the right to live an empowered, pain-free life.
