Lesley started in private practice at Central Wollongong Physio in 1989 with an special interest in chronic pain. (Lesley had previously been studying Psychology in Canada) She worked at Port Kembla Hospital Physio Dept. mainly in orthopaedics ( inpatient and outpatient) and rehabilitation.
Lesley became interested in an holistic view of pain management and the NSW government sponsored Lesley to undertake training in Hypnosis to use for pain relief.
Since then Lesley has undertaken much post graduate training including Acupuncture in 1998. She is also a Clinical Nutritionist (UNE 2003) and Clinical Hypnotherapist (Melbourne 2013)
Lesley can Rx acute problems such as backs, necks, knees etc., however some people have pains that standard treatments just scratch the surface of. The connection between the mind and body is fascinating. For example, depressions or grief may reignite old, long forgotten pains. We address multiple areas of pain with acupuncture and hypnotherapy.
