Born in England Serena moved to Australia at the young age of 11 where she attended Pymble Ladies College. It was at Pymble Serena found her calling in sports, getting involved in almost every sport, especially rowing. Serena represented Pymble in the 1st V111 in her senior years and went on to represent NSW and Australia in the Under 21 team. Serena throughout her time rowing was involved with NSWIS and other international regattas representing Sydney University in Canada for the Royal Canadian Henley, where she won both the Under 23 Double and Quadruple Scull. After 10 years of training at an elite level Serena decided to hang up her oars. Since leaving rowing Serena continues to live a very active life, from horse riding in her spare time, to challenging herself running half marathons, playing ALF or getting into the gym for a few rounds of boxing. With her passion for sport and wanting to encourage others to live their best life Serena pursed a career in physiotherapy and gradua
