Alex trained at Otago University and worked in Dunedin, South New Zealand before moving to Australia in 2008. Alex completed his Master of Clinical Physiotherapy (Manipulative Physiotherapy) at Curtin University in Perth in 2011, giving him the title of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist.
In 2011 Alex moved from Perth to the Central Coast to work at Terrigal Sports and Spinal. In 2014 Alex purchased the business and rebranded the clinic to become Optimum Health & Performance. In addition to his clinician and business duties Alex looks after and travels with local, state, and national sporting teams.
Alex is actively involved in ongoing education & development within the Physiotherapy profession, both as a clinical educator for final year physiotherapy students in their undergraduate year or completing their masters training. His love of learning has led him to making a start with his Musculoskeletal specialist training through the Fellowship of the Australian College of Physiotherapists
