Miss Lauren L Williams - Physiotherapist Kangaroo Point

Lauren joined the Allsports team at Kangaroo Point in 2014. She completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Queensland where she graduated with First Class Honours. Lauren has a particular interest in assessing and correcting the intimately linked biomechanics of the upper body in people with shoulder and neck injuries, and pain. As part of her Honours research project, Lauren investigated the use of a newly proposed clinical tool in the assessment of movement control deficits commonly found in people with neck pain. Her work on neck and shoulder pain has driven her special interest in workplace ergonomics and preventative management programs. She currently manages the Occupational Physiotherapy division at Allsports Kangaroo Point. In her spare time, Lauren takes part in competitive rowing and enjoys playing in her social netball team.
