Dave has been in private practice over the past 13 years both in NZ and Australia. Dave graduated from AUT in 2007 with a Bachelor of Health Science in Physiotherapy and since then Dave has completed Level 1, 2 and 3 (Advanced) Dry Needling with GEMt as well as McKenzie Method for the Cervical/Thoracic and Lumbar spine. Dave has a real passion for dry needling as he feels that it gives great improvement to “deactivate” muscles, help with muscle tightness and myofascial pain. He feels that the needling gets in a lot deeper than massage and physiotherapy alone. He has also done many other musculoskeletal post-graduate courses to improve his manual handling skills. Dave has completed his Level 1 course in the treatment of headaches and migraines through the Watson Headache® Institute. Dave has worked with different sports incl representative U18s Rugby and U19s Netball and at the National Championships.
