Emma graduated from UQ in 2009 and headed north to Rockhampton where she worked in private practice treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. During this time Emma and her colleagues also provided Physiotherapy for the Rockhampton Mater Hospital, a nursing home, and the Central Queensland State League Soccer team. Emma returned to work in Brisbane in 2012 and has taken a special interest in working with pelvic pain and sacroiliac joint issues. Emma takes a very “hands-on” approach, with treatment focusing on soft tissue and manual therapy techniques, dry needling and exercise prescription.
Emma has competed in Muay Thai kick-boxing at a national level. These days you are more likely to find her playing Touch Rugby League (TRL), training with the team at F45 (functional group fitness), or spending time with her family on the Sunshine Coast.
