James Hunter graduated in Physiotherapy from the University of Queensland in 1999. For the past 18 years, James has worked in a wide variety of roles both in Australia and in the UK, from hospitals to private practice and sports teams. James returned to Australia in 2009 and moved to the Sunshine Coast. Since then he has worked in private practice and has built strong relationships with orthopaedic surgeons, sports teams and elite athletes. From April 2018, James is the lead physiotherapist at Peregian Sports Injury and Physiotherapy Centre bringing his specialist skills to the team. His special interest are; sports injuries, lower limb rehabilitation, post-op shoulder and knee surgery, spinal treatment and strengthening, bike fit and cycling mechanics, dry needling and cupping, manual therapy James is a keen surfer and snowboarder, enjoys cycling and fitness, travel and family.
