Damian Ryan is a Physiotherapist with 14 years experience in the public and private health care sectors. He has worked in all facets of Physiotherapy including musculoskeletal, cardiopulmonary and neurological fields in inpatient, outpatient and community based settings. Damian has worked amongst Aged care assessment teams and chronic pain teams in Melbourne and Queensland.
After spending time managing Cardiac and COPD rehab for Queensland Health, Damian has spent the following 8 years working in the private sector working with private clientele and clients referred by third party stakeholders including General Practitioners, Medicare Local, Disability Employment Services, Workcover and DVA.
Damian’s interests include acute and chronic conditions with the main emphasis being vocational and musculoskeletal rehabilitation and the education and empowerment of his clientele to be active and self manage whenever possible.
