Debbie Spanos
Debbie Spanos graduated in 1988 with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Physiotherapy. Debbie has worked as a physiotherapist in private practice for over 20 years. Her approach to physiotherapy is thorough using long assessment sessions – generally 1 hour and extended treatment sessions. This allows for extensive soft tissue work and mobilization, patient education regarding their condition, and the teaching of self-management strategies and exercises. Debbie often treats patients with complex and multiple problems. When the patient leaves they should feel empowered and better able to aid their own recovery. Treatment is a partnership between the physiotherapist and patient, both working together towards the same outcome.
