Matt completed his Bachelor of Science degree at Melbourne University in 2012, majoring in anatomy and physiology before entering into the Doctor of Physiotherapy postgraduate degree at the same university, graduating in 2015. Matt has competed in Olympic Weightlifting for over 9 years and has represented Australia on numerous occasions on the International stage. His major achievements in his sport include becoming the Australian National Champion in 2016, winning two Bronze medals for Australia at the Oceania Championships and Arafura Games in 2011. Therefore, the unique combination of his physiotherapy and elite sporting background has given him an unparalleled understanding of assessing, treating and managing a variety of athletes and patients. These experiences have enhanced his understanding of movement biomechanics, strength and power development. As a result, he is passionate about using this knowledge to achieve patient goals.
