Kara graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Health Sciences/Master of Physiotherapy Practice prior to joining the Total Physiocare team. During her degree, she gained invaluable clinical experience in musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiorespiratory, sports, chronic pain and paediatric physiotherapy.
In addition to her university studies, Kara worked as a physiotherapy assistant at one of Melbourne's leading private hospitals working with patients post operatively, at Melbourne University Blues Football Club and as a research assistant analysing hip pain in soccer players. Kara has also completed volunteering in the most disadvantaged communities of Cambodia and is in the process of developing a Physiotherapy volunteering program to be implemented in Nepal this year.
Kara loves working with patients of all ages, and is particularly passionate about sports physiotherapy and helping athletes and every day sport enthusiasts achieve their goals.
