My early studies led me on a path to completing a degree at UWA in 1997, in the field of Exercise Science. I realised on completion that the area I particularly enjoyed was the use of exercise prescription to rehabilitate people from injury, so the logical step for me was to study physiotherapy. I finished my physio degree at Curtin University seventeen years ago and haven’t looked back. With a passion for continued learning, I have spent the past five years completing the Masters of Clinical Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy program, also at Curtin.
I enjoy many aspects of the job. First is the genuine excitement and happiness I get from helping people overcome pain and dysfunction. The profession has enabled me to work in five different countries including a busy sports and spinal private practice in London, and for the past eight years working here with a superb team at A Fine Balance.
