Mrs Michelle Newsome - Physiotherapist Nedlands

Michelle has been practicing Physiotherapy since graduating from Curtin University in 2000. Prior to this she completed a Bachelor of Physical Education, with a focus in athletic therapy and exercise physiology from Brock University in Canada. During her career, Michelle has gained valuable experience working in both hospital and private practice settings in Canada and Australia. Over the last 20 years she has worked in private practice both treating clients with manual therapy techniques and teaching Clinical Pilates. Michelle is also certified with the Anatomical Acupuncture Foundation of Canada, has completed Stage 1 of Sarah Key’s Problem back Masterclass and most recently completed Level 1 Fascial Manipulation As an athlete herself, Michelle has a particular interest in assessing and treating sporting injuries and providing optimal rehabilitation and management programs. She is an active swimmer and has a particular passion for shoulder injuries.
