Katsu Inoue was originally born and raised in Japan. At the age of 12, he moved and spent 7 years in Malaysia, where his grandfather retired before he arrived Melbourne in 2009.
After completing a Bachelor of Biomedicine at Melbourne University, Katsu continued his study at Melbourne where he obtained a Doctor of Physiotherapy with distinction degree in 2014. Katsu then started his private practice career in the western suburbs prior to joining The Joint team, where he enjoyed treating a variety of musculoskeletal, sporting and occupational injuries.
Despite his not-so-tall height, he grew up playing basketball and kendo (Japanese fencing) but appreciates and enjoys all types of sports.
At The Joint, he is looking forward to promoting the wellbeing of our community and promoting awareness of what physiotherapy can do to the Japanese community because private practice physio is almost non existent back home!
