Tanita first attended the Perth Foot and Ankle Clinic as a patient in 2005, which sparked her interest in health care and podiatry. In Year 10 at school she chose a local podiatry clinic for work experience, where she loved adjusting orthotics and meeting new people. Tanita went on to complete a four year Bachelor of Podiatric Medicine at UWA, and has been working full time with us since graduating in 2012.
With a comprehensive skill set Tanita happily treats all conditions and ages. A few of her particular interests include ingrown toenail surgery, custom orthotics and assisting with podiatric surgery. A passion for sport has guided her interest in injury prevention, strengthening and rehabilitation programs.
Outside of podiatry, Tanita is a member of Fremantle Surf Life Saving Club, where she is a keen patrolling member. Tanita’s other hobbies include travelling, arts’n’craft, reading and looking after her dog Paddington.
